Amber + Duane – Dorado Beach, Puerto Rico

Once in every lifetime, a fairytale comes to life and this is probably the only way to describe Amber and Duane’s amazing wedding at the Dorado Beach Ritz-Carlton in Puerto Rico. The wedding was pieced together by wedding design guru Preston Bailey and the visuals from end to end were jaw-dropping to say the least. But beyond all the glitz and glamour that went into the wedding, Amber and Duane were the real magic. I was fortunate enough to spend some time filming Amber and Duane in NYC and really got a chance to know them inside and out. What I discovered was two incredible people that I’m honored to now call friends. It was truly a pleasure getting to know their families (especially Amber’s mom Loren, who is the coolest gal in town). I also got to team up with photographer Adam Alex from London, England and it ended up being a great collaboration. Mariana + Samuel – Londrina, Brazil

If ever someone wrote a script for a wedding, there’s no doubt that it would look like Mariana and Samuel’s incredible wedding in Londrina, Brazil. This was our second wedding in Londrina and it just keeps getting better and better. I’ve known Sam and Mari for a while now and they are truly some of the most decent and friendliest people I’ve ever met (but if you ever travel to Brazil, you’ll find that most everyone down there is just as welcoming and friendly). I knew everything about this wedding was going to be perfect, but there was a chance of rain. Being that it’s never rained on one of our weddings (knock on wood), I wasn’t too worried, but I was still hoping and praying. As it turned out, the weather was PERFECT, the couple was perfect, their words were perfect and their love was perfect. I’d like to thank Mari, Sam and their families for always making us feel like family (once my Portuguese gets better, we’re going to move there LOL). And so now I present you with one of the most beautiful wedding films you will ever watch (and I’m not kidding…get that box of Kleenex ready!). Jennifer & Steve Powers – Villa by Barton G – South Beach

You might remember Jennifer and Steve from the Paradise Island film we produced for them in the Bahamas. Needless to say, I couldn’t wait for their incredible wedding at the historical Versace Mansion on South Beach (AKA – Villa by Barton G). Not only are Jen and Steve one of the coolest couples we’ve ever met, they are head over heals crazy about each other. Tina + Felix – Russian Wedding at The Plaza Hotel in NYC

We recently travelled to New York City to film Tina & Felix’s amazing wedding at the famed Plaza Hotel. Tina and Felix were awesome and the weather was PERFECT! Aside from all the visual eye-candy and stunning decor, Russian pop star Kristina Orbakaite also performed at the reception..so you could say this wedding was loaded with some mega-cool content. BIG shout to one of the coolest photographers on the planet and great friend – Alain Martinez for always being easy to work with and for providing some stunning images for the poster design. Lily & Ainsley – Villa Sahita – Bali, Indonesia

Lily and Ainsley knew exactly what they wanted when they flew us to the other side of the world to capture their amazing wedding in Bali, Indonesia. The instructions were quite simple.. create a visual masterpiece. WOW! No Pressure at all right? Well, as with any great film, we needed some great characters and an amazing story. Lily and Ainsley did not disappoint.. their personalities were awesome and their feelings for one another were beyond just words. We couldn’t have asked for a better setting… Villa Sahita is straight out of a Hollywood movie. Everything was in place and we set out on the 17 hour wedding day schedule (don’t worry, the spa treatments in Bali helped us recover quickly). Well, I hope you enjoy this short teaser from Lily and Ainsley’s wedding as much as we enjoyed preserving this once in a lifetime memory for them. Making the Movies Jealous – Matt & Ginny’s Wedding Film

We recently travelled to the Hazlehurst House in Atlanta, Georgia to film Matt & Ginny’s Wedding celebration. You might remember Matt’s proposal to Ginny that quickly became a Youtube sensation with over 20 million views (and counting). I can tell you that Matt and Ginny’s love for each other is not a fictional love story, it’s the real deal. These two are head over heels for each other and you’ll see what I’m talking about when you watch this short film we put together from their wedding day. Matt titled his proposal video to Ginny “Making the Movies Jealous”. The coolest thing is that recording artist (and American Idol finalist) Kristen McNamara was so inspired by their Youtube video, that she wrote and produced this film’s song, which is appropriately titled “Making the Movies Jealous” (Available on iTunes by clicking here). Colleen and Chad – The Breakers Hotel

What can I say about our new friends.. Colleen and Chad? I knew from the second I met them at their rehearsal dinner the night before the wedding that the resulting film was going to be special. They were so excited that we were going to be documenting the wedding and I could just tell that they had a genuine love for each other that would showcase itself on the wedding day. As I predicted, the next day turned into one of the most amazing wedding days of the year.. you just couldn’t have scripted it any better. I’m not going to ramble too much because you HAVE to start watching this short film from their incredible wedding (Warning: You might need some Kleenex for this one). Big thanks to The Breakers Hotel and Sara Renee Events for bringing me on board for this amazing wedding. WOW! The only thing better than a big phat David Tutera wedding is, well, an AMAZING bride and groom.. and that’s exactly what we got with Carrie and Ajay. Having spent quite a bit of time filming in New York over the past year, I can tell you this one definitely ranked high on the list of eye-candy. We had a great time getting to know our new friends Ajay and his former Miss Florida (now wife) Carrie. I’m not gonna ramble too much on this post because you have to see this film.. like.. NOW!!! So what do you do when one of the hottest AND coolest couples you have asks you to go to Paradise Island, Bahamas for a weekend getaway in a private villa? Well.. you drop everything you’re doing and get your bags ready! LOL. Seriously, this is how it basically went down. Jen and Steve literally just wanted us to capture their romantic getaway before the big day this October at the Versace Mansion in South Beach.
